BACKGROUND
South Korea is aging faster than ever.The population aged 65 and older has already surpassed 10 million, accounting for over 20% of the total population.The average retirement age in the creative field is just 43. The creative industry, which should be leading change, is ironically reinforcing ageism. An industry that should thrive on diversity is suffocating creativity with its youth-only bias.

PTKOREA believes that creativity should belong to every generation. In an industry loud with DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) chants, we asked: “But where is generational diversity?” So we launched a bold initiative - hiring 11 senior interns with an average age of 62.63 to challenge the industry’s deep-rooted stereotypes. A creative experiment where the energy of Gen Z meets the experience of Seniors - proving that true creative synergy happens across generations.
